1893 Chicago World's Fair Columbian Safe Deposit Combination Lock'bank

  

This vintage piece has been in the back of a closet for decades, and only now have I realized what a jewel it is. It's cast iron weighing almost 5-pounds, measuring 5 x 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches.

I would like to chastise the person who took a paint brush to it though. Luckily, the back was not attacked by the brush and it shows how beautiful it is. I hope there is a skilled individual who can remove the paint and restore the item to its original glory.

It is a combination lock but I do not have the combination. On the plus side though it is open.
