Hollon 2.36 Cu Ft Fire and Burglary Safe FB-685. The Hollon Oyster 2.36 Cu Ft Fire and Burglary Safe FB-685E is a handy mid-size fire resistant safe. This home and office safe is just the right size-- big enough for your valuables while still compact enough to fit into a small space. This fire rated safe measures 21"L x 20½"W x 27"H on the outside and 15"L x 13"W x 21"H on the inside. There is 2.36 cu ft of interior space. The safe weighs 354 lbs. There are 2 adjustable shelves so you can put everything neatly away. A white exterior finish and chrome-plated triple spoke handle give this home safe an understated style that blends in with most interiors. Like most fire-resistant safes, this Hollon Oyster is made of steel and fire-retardant concrete.

This office safe is engineered to resist external temperatures of up to 1700° F (927° C) for up to 2 hours, while maintaining the internal temperature at 350° F (177° C). This temperature is cool enough to keep paper, such as cash and important documents, safeguarded from heat and fire. You need to have your valuables protected not only against fire, but against burglary attempts. This fire and burglary safe has a variety of state-of-the-art security features to defend against forced entry.

A glass re-locker is positioned inside the door. If an attempt is made to cut around or punch out the lock, the glass will shatter, triggering the bolts.

The glass will also shatter if the safe is struck with a sledgehammer or crowbar, helping to protect against physical attacks. The door is protected by a 1 thick locking bar running the full length of the door on the hinge side, which features heavy-duty vault hinges. There are 3 solid steel locking bolts on the other side.

This fire-resistant safe has a pre-drilled anchor bolt hole so that you can bolt your safe down, preventing thieves from gaining prying leverage or simply taking the safe with them. Fire rated 2 hours at 1700° F.
